General Description

Multifunctional GSM-card for 4-8 GSM-channels is useful for receiving and placing calls in mobile networks (GSM) as well as receiving and transmitting SMS, sending USSD-requests. Integration of the GSM-card in company's telephone system provides phone calls cost reduction especially for «office — mobile phones» direction. Also the GSM-card is the fastest and easiest way to establish telephony communication in locations where landlines are unavailable or costly.

The model enables user to insert up to 8 SIM-card into SIM-holders or commutate SIM-cards remotely using remote SIM-management technology provided by SIM-server Polygator.

The card operates under OS Linux (all *NIX systems are supported). It is compatible with IP-PBX Asterisk thanks to native Asterisk-module (PGGSM) and Linux-driver by Polygator. Under Asterisk software the card provides maximal range of features and functions. By using GSM-card without IP-PBX Asterisk (with Linux-driver only) it is possible to reach GSM-modules as a pool of GSM-modems. All GSM-modules available in OS Linux locally (as TTY devices) or via TCP/IP (with help of ser2net Linux software) as a pool of Ethernet-modems. In both cases modules are controlled by АТ-commands.

Application and benefits

  • Gateway between cellular networks and VoIP (SIP) networks, devices and IP-PBX. Bulk SMS. Calls termination/origination. Distributed network of GSM-gateways by the means of the remote SIM-management technology and SIM-server Polygator.
  • Deep integration with Asterisk (dial plan, CLI). Many boards can be installed in single server. Free tech.support for 1 year. Warranty 2 years.

Key features

  • Quick-start – ready for operation out of the box
  • SIP protocol support
  • Hardware processing for popular codecs (g.711, g.723, g.726, g.729) frees a lot of system resources especially under high load
  • Scalability - can install many cards in single motherboard/server
  • All *NIX operating systems are supported (not just Linux)
  • Setting-up and configuring via Asterisk (CLI) - popular and free telephony system
  • High traffic capacity - 600 minutes per day and more, per channel
  • Lowering base stations load – option to shut off unused GSM-modules
  • Detailed cause codes (disconnect codes) of a mobile network – useful feature for predictive dialers
  • IMEI-codes are changeable via Asterisk console (Asterisk CLI)
  • Full support of SMS processing (incoming/outgoing) via Asterisk dial plan
  • Elastix compatible and certified

Application
